Plane towed to gate at SBN following problem with landing gear

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A potentially scary story just landed on the assignment desk of the ABC57 newsroom.

A plane was on its way to the South Bend Regional Airport, when aircraft personnel became concerned about a problem with landing gear.

They were able to land safely at the airport, but were unable to steer to gate. The plane is now being towed to the gate.

The flight sits approximately 40 people. Thankfully, no one was hurt.

There is no word yet on how long the people on-board will be delayed, or if this will affect other flights at the airport.
