Happy August! We will start off our morning fairly cool in the 50s and 60s this morning, so you might need a light jacket heading out the door. Temperatures are expected increase to the 70s today with low humidity under mostly sunny skies. However, you will likely see hazy skies as well today.
The air quality alert is still in effect in our southern Michigan counties and has extended to a few Northern Indiana counties as well. Unhealth air quality is likely today, so avoid strenuous activity outdoors.
Fair and comfortable conditions will last through the weekend, though wildfire smoke will likely stay with us. Temperatures slowly being to rise to the 80s by next week, with the chance for showers and storms returning on Tuesday.
Today: Mostly sunny, hazy. High 78.
Tonight: Mostly clear, cool. Low 54.
Saturday: Sunny and fair. High 78.
Sunday: Sunny, warm. High 80.
