Police searching for shooter in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – South Bend Police are investigating after a 15-year-old was shot in the hand Saturday evening.
According to police, the shooting happened on the 2000 block of West Westmoor Street near Kennedy Park.
The report of the shooting came into dispatch around 7:30 p.m.
Police do have names and persons of interests in the case.
The victim was a 15-year-old male and he has non life-threatening injuries to his hand.
People living in the area said they heard around six shots, police have not confirmed number of shots fired.
