Police need help identifying deceased male

ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart Police are asking for the public's help identifying a man who died Saturday at the home of an acquaintance.

Elkhart Police and Elkhart Fire were dispatched to 423 W. Marion Street at 11:45 p.m. on Saturday for an unresponsive male.

The man, known only as "Jamie" came to the residence to visit. While there, he collapsed and died, police said.

An autopsy determined he died of natural causes.

The man is identified as a Hispanic male, in his 20s or 30s, 6’0” tall, weighing 277 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair and a neatly trimmed beard and mustache.

He does not have any scars, marks or tattoos.

He was known to frequent Hispanic stores and restaurants in the Elkhart area.
