Police: one person killed in Elkhart crash

Elkhart police say one person was killed an early morning crash.
It happened on County Road 6 at Northland Drive, near the Dynamax Corporation.
Elkhart police Sgt. Chris Snyder says a SUV pulled in front of a motorcycle, killing the motorcycle driver. The impact of the crash spun the motorcycle into traffic, and it hit another vehicle.
Snyder says speed was a factor, and investigators believe the motorcycle was speeding.
Police have not released the victim's name.
County Road 6 remains closed in both directions as the investigation continues.
