Police searching for armed robbery suspect in Elkhart

The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help with their search for a suspect who they say stole money and cigarettes.

The robbery happened Saturday, September 3rd at the BP service station in the 21000 State Road 120 around 10:57 p.m.

Deputies say the suspect, who was armed with a handgun, entered the store and stole cigarettes and an undetermined amount of cash.

They say the suspect is a white male in his 20’s who was wearing a white shirt and black pants.
