SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- It's Groundhog Day! ABC57's Emily Arnold and Meteorologist Emmett Twomey spent the morning at Potawatomi Zoo gearing up for Poppy, the zoo's ambassador groundhog, to predict an early spring or a late winter.
Potawatomi Zoo Executive Director, Josh Sisk shared a bit more about Poppy and this morning's celebration.
You have a chance to see Poppy and the other zoo animals this weekend for 'Winter Days', Saturday and Sunday at Potawatomi Zoo from 12-3pm.
More information can be found at the zoo's Facebook page.
