Practice reading to cats and dogs, no judgment

SOUTH BEND, Ind.- Literacy for Companionship Inc. is hosting a free event for all children ages 5 and older who are willing to read library books to cats and dogs.
The two-hour event will take place on March 19 at the South Bend Animal Resource Center located at 521 Eclipse Place in South Bend.
The unique opportunity gives readers a chance to sharpen their skills with four-legged audiences that will not judge them, while also learning how to volunteer and socialize the animals.
One ticket per child is required and spots may be reserved here.
