President declares Indiana a disaster, relief on the way

Federal dollars are on the way to Southern Indiana for tornado relief efforts.

President Obama signed a disaster declaration Friday. It will help six counties affected by the storms.

Assistance will help with home repairs, temporary housing, and loans for the uninsured. It will take years to rebuild.

In the short term it's taking help from hundreds of agencies just to clean up. The American Red Cross and Salvation Army were set up right after the tornadoes hit.
