ABC 57 MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. -- For the second time in less than a month, an inmate has been injured during a fire at the Indiana State Prison.
Officials from the Indiana Department of Corrections say it happened during the afternoon yesterday, April 7. The initial investigation appears to show that the fire was started by outlet tampering. The fire was contained to one cell.
The IDOC recently reported a fire that happened back on March 15.
