ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – Political Science Professor at Ball State University Chad Kinsella joins ABC57 to discuss the chaos that took place at the Capitol.
ABC57’s Brian Conybeare asks Professor Kinsella his expert opinion on a few different questions involving invoking the 25th amendment to remove President Donald Trump, the multiple people resigning from the Trump Administration and whether or not the move was too late after supporting the President after four years.
When asked about remaining cabinet members invoking the 25th amendment to remove President Donald Trump, Professor Kinsella said that this point, anything can happen.
“At this point, I would say anything is possible. I would say it is probably unlikely but I feel like I’ve said that before and some odd things have happened, but its all possible,” said Professor Kinsella. “I think it would be important to see what happens going forward. I think we have a chance of a cooling off period and a chance to see what happens. We’ve only got two weeks left before President-elect Biden takes over so I think it’ll more of a wait-and-see type of attitude before we see if that truly needs to be done. We’ll have to wait on that one.”
