NILES, Mich. -- On Monday at the corner of main and Second Street, the Coalition for Democracy Southwest Michigan protested the State of the Union address that took place Feb. 24.
The group gathers every first and third Monday of every month in front of Representative Tim Walberg's office.
Around two dozen people showed up to the protest, as they are objecting to the current administration's actions and policies, including the ongoing controversy surrounding the Epstein Files.
The protest was held because the members of the group grew frustrated with not only the president's and his administration's actions with ICE, the Epstein Files, and the overall civil rights of certain groups, but Tim Walberg's continued absence from their district.
