Public meeting set for Silver Beach upgrade proposals

ST. JOSEPH, Mich. – Winter is not quite over, but in Berrien County some are already looking ahead to spring. 

The Berrien County Parks Commission is planning on making some upgrades at Silver Beach County Park.

A hard surface trail, and a large, new play area are just some of the upgrades to expect in the next few months.

They are asking for some ideas and feedback. The commission will host a public meeting Wednesday night January 18th.

The brainstorming session is set for 5:30, at the Love Creek Nature Center.
