Today marks one year since Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Since then, an estimated 200,000 troops have either been killed or wounded. Tens of thousands of Ukrainian civilians have died, and millions are still displaced.
ABC57 spoke with Dr. Elviria Kizilova, a Professor of Marketing at Dominican University in River Forest, IL. She has ties to both countries, and shares where Ukraine, Russia and even the United States stand a year later.
