Reindog Parade takes over St. Joseph

ST. JOSEPH, Mich. -- The annual Reindog Parade is a great time for all. The event features dressed up pets and their owners in a variety of holiday costumes.

The event marks the arrival of Santa and after the parade, children can share their wish lists with Santa's House.

Daniele Crevier, director of events and operations of St. Joseph, stated "Yeah, we are here at the rein dog parade. So, it's an annual parade that we host here in downtown St Joe, we have over 100 dogs and their owners that have dressed up and we parade down State Street. So, we're just really excited to kick off the holiday season."

"We love getting people out year-round. We run the Welcome Center here in downtown St. Joe and do a lot of events year-round. So, you'll see, like our antiques on the bluff, ice fest, farmers market and such. We love our winter events because it gets people out of the house and just downtown, exploring, you know, grabbing a hot chocolate from the chocolate cafe, grabbing a special gift for somebody while you're down here, doing a little shopping, putting that money back into those local businesses."
