UPDATE: Eastbound lanes reopen following crash involving car and semi-truck on US 20 Bypass
UPDATE TWO: Police say all lanes of the bypass have reopened as of 1:40 p.m.
Authorities ask drivers to continue using caution on all roads in the county as they are slick and snow covered.
UPDATE: Police say one lane has been opened for a tow company to move the semi-truck as of 12:30 p.m., Monday.
Authorities say the traffic should be on the move again soon, and traffic is being diverted at Bremen Highway.
ORIGINAL STORY: ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Police Department reports there's a major traffic jam on the US 20 Bypass following a crash involving a semi-truck and car near the Elm Road exit Monday morning.
Police say the crash occurred in the eastbound lanes.
No injuries have been reported.
Authorities say traffic is backed up to the Bremen Highway exit.
Police are currently working to set up a detour.
Officers say although plows have been clearing snow, roads remain slick and visibility is an issue.
It's recommended to avoid being on the road or use caution if you must.
Police are also reminding drivers to move over for responding emergency vehicles.
