UPDATE: SJCPD reports McKinley Highway has reopened as of 5:20 p.m., Monday.

ORIGINAL STORY: ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Police Department reports McKinley Highway between Ash and Birch Roads is closed as of 4:15 p.m., Monday, for a crash investigation.

The crash involved an SUV and a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with injuries, although the severity is unknown at this time.

The SUV's driver was uninjured.

The St. Joseph County Fatal Alcohol Crash Team has been called to take over the investigation.
