UPDATE: The South Bend Police Department announced Thursday morning that an arrest has been made in this case.
ORIGINAL STORY: SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A 16-year-old is dead following a shooting in the 1300 block of W. Dubail Street Wednesday evening. The teen's family has been notified.
South Bend Police say they were called for shots fired around 5 p.m.
Officers arrived to find the teen suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The teen was pronounced dead.
The South Bend Police Violent Crimes Unit is now investigating.
