Rising gas prices may put a hold on some of the President's clean energy initiatives.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the Environmental Protection Agency may delay implementing new clean energy standards for automakers and refineries.
That's because those rules could lead to even higher gas prices.
The Obama administration has said that the increase would only be a penny per gallon.
We would see that increase in 2017.
