Road rage leads to robbery in LaPorte

LAPORTE, Ind. — It started as what some would call road rage, but LaPorte police said quickly turned into a robbery.
Police said William McDaniel, 26, cut off another driver on West 10th Street Monday afternoon. But McDaniel then stopped, ran back to the car behind him and started to beat up that driver.
McDaniel was able to grab the keys to the other driver's car and took off.
Police later caught up with McDaniel. He his now facing robbery charges.
