SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Downtown South Bend and the Navarre Hospitality Group held a ribbon cutting for the new Salvation Bar on Main Street.
It's been in the works for nearly three and half years, best described as "Neighborhood Bar", where people can unwind after work or grab a drink before grabbing dinner elsewhere.
Matthew Soutra, Vice President for Navarre Hospitality Group, stated, "We think we've built a really beautiful cocktail bar. The space I think is gorgeous and we've got some incredible cocktails and great snacks. Really, it's a warm atmosphere for guests to relax and enjoy and converse. We see this area of South Bend very much on the cusp, and there's a tremendous amount of development happening in downtown at large as well as in this area of the city specifically, so we were really excited to be in a small way a part of that."
