SBCSC hosting two public input meetings for their facility master plan
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Community School Corporation has announced two meeting dates that invite the public to provide input on the school district’s facilities master plan.
Guests are invited to provide feedback on topics discerning the corporation’s choice programs, Career and Technical Education, Special Education, fine arts, athletics and more.
“This is a vital step toward a more successful district, and we cannot proceed without careful consideration of the current culture—where we are now, where we belong, and how we can enhance and redesign our environment for the success of our students, teachers, families, and the entire South Bend community,” said Kareemah Fowler, Assistant Superintendent of Business and Finance for the SBCSC.
Changes for district facilities that need public input include: educational framework; demographics; conditions; and funding.
The first meeting will be hosted at the Brown Community Learning Center, 737 Beale Street, on March 19 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The second meeting will be hosted at the Charles Black Community Center, 3419 West Washington St., on May 5 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
