SBPD Bomb Squad waiting to remove illegal fireworks from Mishawaka home

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The South Bend Police Department Bomb Squad and the Mishawaka Police Department are at a home where people are suspected of making illegal fireworks.

Cruisers and the bomb squad wagon are parked in front of a house near the intersection of McKinley and Main Street in Mishawaka.

Officers on the scene told us that they are waiting on a warrant, but plan to be hauling out materials used to make illegal fireworks within the hour.
