SeaWorld appeals killer whale ruling

SeaWorld is appealing a federal ruling that bans their animal trainers from having contact with killer whales during live performances.

That's unless the whales are protected by physical barriers. That ruling came after a SeaWorld trainer was killed in 2010.

Dawn Brancheau was held under water by a 6-ton whale. SeaWorld has filed a petition for a federal review.

If it's not granted, the ruling will become final next Monday.
