SOUTH BEND, Ind – The South Bend Cubs and the South Bend Police Department joined forces for their second annual “Cops & Goblins” event.
The event was held at Four Winds Field in which organizers expected over 6,000 people to attend.
The event is seen as a way to enhance community policing by the public interacting with officers from the department.
“It’s showing the police department is here and we are a part of the community,” South Bend Police Department Media Liaison Ken Garcia said.
