MISHWAWAKA, Ind. -- The City of Mishawaka announced E. 12th Street between Campbell Street and Merrifield Avenue will be closed to eastbound traffic beginning at 8 a.m. on Mar. 9.

Officials say crews will be working on the next phase of the 12th Street Reconstruction project.

Westbound traffic will be allowed during construction.

Access to local businesses in the construction zone will be maintained during the work.

Barricades and signage will be in place during this lane closure.

Motorists are encouraged to use the posted detour route to avoid delays.
