Section of Rankert Road closed due to damage from heavy rainfall

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. - A section of Rankert Road, south of North Liberty, is closed due to damage from heavy rainfall over the past week, according to the St. Joseph County Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Growth.
Rankert Road will be closed between Sycamore and Tamarack roads for the next three to four weeks while crews fix the damage, which includes replacing a section of culvert pipe on the road.
Crews recommend drivers take Tamarack and Sycamore roads as a detour route to either Riley Road to the north or Tyler Road to the south.
