Lake effect snow tapers off this morning with sunshine breaking through the clouds. The next chance of snow is late Thursday evening into Friday morning. Little accumulation is expected. Otherwise temperatures slowly warm up into the weekend. A strong low pressure system brings us mainly rain Saturday evening with possible rumbles of thunder. Strong gusts of wind could top 40 mph which could lead to isolated power outages. Daytime highs top out in the upper 40s but fall through Sunday. Live tracking on ABC 57 News.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, low of 16.
