Starke County face-to-face with severe weather
Lake effect snow will continue to fall through the first half of the day and wrap up in the early afternoon, leaving behind 1"-2" of powdery snow in our southern Michigan and far northern Indiana counties. While highs get to near 20 degrees, sustained winds of 10-15 mph today will keep our area feeling closer to the single digits all day. Lows land near zero tonight with wind chills in the negative double digits expected, producing dangerously cold weather tomorrow morning when many will be waiting at bus stops. There's no more wet weather in the forecast until the middle of this week, but temperatures stick below freezing until Tuesday afternoon.
Today: Snow showers. High 19.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 0.
Monday: Partly cloudy. High 20.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy. High 34.
