Nothing says Summer in Michiana like storms, smoke, and sun in that particular order! We will finish off the rest of tonight with isolated non-severe thunderstorms rolling off the lake and travelling eastward as temperatures drop into the low 60s. The storms clear out, carving a path for smoke to roll in from the west early Sunday morning. Smoke will remain all of Sunday, with the worst air quality expected to be in the mid-afternoon to early evening hours. Temperatures will climb to the low 80s and the day will otherwise be mostly sunny and Summer-like! We switch weather yet again, trading in smoke for another round of storms Sunday night as we fall back down into the low 60s. Monday will be characterized by exiting rain from the previous night in the form of showers and temperatures sitting in the mid to high 70s. Michiana finally gets a quiet day on Tuesday with just a little bit of sun in otherwise mostly cloudy skies and temperatures back into the low 80s.
Tonight: Isolated thunderstorms. Low 64.
Sunday: Smoky with mostly sunny skies. High 83.
Monday: Showers. High 77.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy. High 81.
