Snow sculptor turns big snow into big art

COLLINSVILLE, Ill. -- Illinois resident Freddie Novosel is a snow sculptor and loves being outside even if it means he has to bundle up.

He says with big snows like the one we just had, his fans expect something just as big.

His fans were not disappointed, with giant Smurfs in Novosel's front lawn and a giant fish.

"It was so cold, I'd wet it down and have five minutes to work with it and then it was solid ice.  So, not as much detail in these last few," said Novosel.

He says as long as Mother Nature keeps bringing the snow, he will continue to pound out the art work.
