NOW: Some patchy fog Monday morning; rain arrives this afternoon

Monday morning, there are some areas of patchy fog, but the fog shouldn't be as dense or widespread compared to Sunday.

Temperatures are in the upper 40s this morning, and we'll warm into the mid 50s by afternoon.

The morning is mainly dry, although could feel a little damp under the fog at times. Midday, we'll see a few rain showers sneaking in, leading to more widespread rain by the evening. Have an umbrella ready to go as you are heading to Christmas dinner.

It becomes breezy through the day, with wind gusts up to 30 mph, so make sure outdoor holiday decorations are secure.

Rain showers continue tonight, then gradually taper Tuesday morning.

Temperatures are still mild in the low 50s Tuesday.

Wednesday is dry but cloudy and a bit cooler, with highs dipping into the low 40s.

Temperatures continue to cool into the 30s Thursday and Friday.

Thursday we'll see a rain/snow mix, which could turn to all snow showers Thursday night into early Friday morning.

The weekend looks dry with highs in the mid 30s.

Tonight: Rain showers. Breezy. Low 49.
