NOW: South Bend Common Council approves funding for local public improvements Monday

SOUTH BEND,Ind. -- The common council approved funding for local public improvements Monday night from the South Bend redevelopment district.

They approved the issuance of Tax increment revenue bonds which will cover the funding needed for the Drewry's residential housing development project and the associated cost.
