SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- An annual march was held at the Century Center on Monday, Jan. 19 to celebrate the life of Martin Luther King Jr.
The afternoon was filled with workshops and educational sessions for all ages after the march.
While the events took place upstairs, Alesia King, with the Ark Angels Incorporated worked with kids in the youth room.
The organization also hosted its second annual youth march with hopes of inspiring the next generation.
Alesia King, with Arc Angels Incorporated, stated, "“We want them to think about their dreams and what their dreams are. And so, this is another way for us to again, get them out, get them to start dreaming, you know, and get active in the community in different ways. And this is a way that they can be active. They can dream."
