SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The United States Attorney’s Office Northern District of Indiana announced 22-year-old Michael Bellina, of South Bend, was sentenced after pleading guilty to Transportation of Child Pornography.

Bellina was sentenced to nine years in prison followed by five years of supervised release.

Court documents in the case state between August 2023 and March 2024, Bellina transported over 600 images of child sexual abuse material which he received through the internet.

Documents state then uploaded the images and distributed them on multiple internet platforms.
