South Bend Police’s National Night Out set for August 1

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The South Bend Police Department will host its annual National Night Out event on August 1 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Law enforcement agencies across the country participate in the annual event by hosting their own gatherings, which are designed to strengthen the relationship between police and the communities they serve.

This is a free event, and residents can enjoy free food, games, prizes and more during it.

The event will be held in the department’s east lot, located at 701 W. Sample St. in South Bend.
