South Bend schools plan in-person graduation ceremony

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – South Bend Community School Corporation Superintendent Dr. Todd Cummings announced today that the school district will host outdoor, in-person graduation ceremonies for the class of 2021.

The five high schools in the district will have their ceremonies on Four Winds Field on June 3, 4, and 5. A rain date is scheduled for June 6 for all schools.

The Adult Education program will also hold its ceremony at Four Winds Field.

Health and safety protocols will be established at the ceremonies, including wearing masks, using hand sanitizer upon entering and exiting the venue, and limiting the number of guests graduates can invite.

A live stream will also be made available for those who cannot attend.
