South Bend Symphony Orchestra receives grant from National Endowment for the Arts

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The National Endowment for the Arts has awarded the South Bend Symphony Orchestra with a Challenge America grant.

The grant will go towards supporting the orchestra's Celebration for a Dream project, which honors the life, legacy and impact of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The orchestra will be performing at Covenant Community Church on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to celebrate the significance of African American Music and the sixtieth anniversary of Dr. King's "I Have a Dream" speech.
