South Bend woman crashes into barrier wall on US 20

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. — A South Bend woman is in trouble with police after crashing into a center barrier wall on the US 20 bypass.
Investigators say the 20-year-old wasn't even on the highway when it all started.
She was headed eastbound on State Road 19 when she ran off the road, over-corrected, and ended up northbound on US 20 before crashing into the barrier.
She was taking to the hospital and cited for driving with a suspended license.
