South Shore Line announces service schedule for 2023 Notre Dame football games

The South Shore Line is available to transport passengers to and from Notre Dame home football games this fall. Shuttle buses will bring passengers to the stadium from the airport. 

As a reminder, buses will take riders between the Carroll Avenue and Gary Metro Center stations for the time being.

For games with a 2:30/3:30 p.m. EST kickoff:

  • The South Shore Line is offering free shuttle buses between the South Bend International Airport and Notre Dame Stadium
    • Shuttle buses will wait near the South Shore train platform and drop travelers off at the IU School of Medicine on Notre Dame’s campus
    • The first return shuttle bus leaves the IU Medicine building at 4:30 p.m. to meet train #508
  • Train #503 arrives at the airport at 12:21 p.m. EST.
  • Train #510 leaves the airport at 9:49 p.m. EST
    • The shuttle bus will wait at the IU Medicine building and leave the campus area at 8:30 p.m. to meet the train

For games with a 7:30 p.m. EST kickoff:

  • The South Shore Line is offering free shuttle buses between the South Bend International Airport and Notre Dame Stadium
    • Shuttle buses will wait near the South Shore platform and drop travelers off at the IU School of Medicine
  • Train #503 arrives at the airport at 12:21 p.m.
  • Train #505 arrives at the airport at 5:04 p.m.
  • After the game, an Extra train will leave the airport 90 minutes after the game ends
    • The shuttle bus will wait at the IU Medicine building and leave the campus area for the airport one hour after the game ends
