ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Indiana Department of Transportation announced restrictions for the S.R. 119 intersection improvement project will begin on June 9.

INDOT says crews will be working between S.R. 19 and C.R. 9 to realign C.R. 7 with S.R. 119 to help improve safety.

Officials expect work to be complete by early October, weather permitting.

During construction, motorists should watch for crews working in the area and at times traffic being directed by flaggers.

C.R. 7 will not have access to or from S.R. 119 during this project and drivers will need to seek an alternate route.
