S.R. 23 railroad crossing closes June 6

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The railroad crossing on S.R. 23, just east of Princess Way, will be closed beginning June 6 for repairs.

The railroad is expected to be closed for about two weeks, weather permitting.

The Indiana Department of Transportation will be working on S.R. 23 in conjunction with and immediately following the railroad closure so lane restrictions may still be ongoing.

The detour will follow S.R. 23, Bittersweet Road, Cleveland Road, and Capital Avenue.
