St. Joe and Elkhart Central win sectional openers; other girls scores

STATEWIDE, Ind. - The postseason has begun for girls basketball, as sectional tournaments get underway this week.

St. Joe topped Adams 68-20 in the Penn 4A sectional. The Lady Indians advance to play LaPorte on Friday.

Elkhart Central beat Plymouth 48-33 in the Concord 4A sectional. The Blue Blazers now play Northridge on Friday.
