ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Department of Health held free Narcan training for the public Thursday to combat opioid overdoses.
The event focused on reducing the stigma around substance use disorder and promoting Narcan as a life-saving option for those addicted to the pain killing drugs.
Everyone got a lesson in the signs and symptoms of an OD.
There are more than 24 locations in St. Joseph County where anyone can get Narcan nasal spray for free.
You can find exact locations by utilizing the health department's interactive map.
