SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Library held its 34th annual Science Alive event on Saturday.
Science Alive celebrates the exploration of learning and is geared towards kids.
The event had many interactive exhibits, with exhibits from The Potawatomi Zoo, Notre Dame’s College of Science, and ABC57 meteorologists, who gave a presentation on the science behind the weather forecast.
Daniel Lichty, Senior Communications Manager at St. Jospeh County Library, stated, "We've been doing this for more than 30 years. This is our largest event of the year. We're expecting several 1000 people to come through. Today. We have over 40 local exhibitors, all showcasing various ways in which science impacts their business or their clubs, and it's all hands-on experience for kids so they can learn about science."
