St. Joseph County named as one of Indiana’s healthiest places to live

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The state of Indiana released their list of healthiest places to live and work in the state, and St. Joseph County made the very short list.

Counties are considered healthy if smoke-free laws are in place within the community, according to the American Lung Association.

For that reason, St. Joseph County was the lone county to make the list, which was compiled ahead of Tuesday’s celebration of No Tobacco Day.
