St. Joseph County offering sandbag assembly sites for possible flooding

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.—With possible rain-related flooding this week, St. Joseph County is offering sandbag assembly sites for residents.

Residents should bring their own shovels to assemble their sandbags.

The locations include:

Warren Fire Department – Station #18, 54837 Quince Road, South Bend (always available)

Penn Township – Station #13, 13750 McKinley, Mishawaka (always available)

South Bend Street Department – 731 S. Lafayette, South Bend (call ahead for availability, 235-9244)

Mishawaka Street Department – 500 N. Cedar Street, Mishawaka (always available)

Clay Fire Department – 18355 Auten Road, South Bend (always available)

Riverside Garage – 3301 Riverside Drive, South Bend (available 6 a.m.-3:30 p.m.)

Woodland Garage –15973 New Road (available 6 a.m.-3:30 p.m.)
