ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- Residents shared their concerns with the county council on Tuesday due to Amazon requesting to pump 1.5 million gallons of water per hour into the Niespodziany Ditch as part of a dewatering plan.
Brian Bailey, resident, stated, "I have a petition on file with the drainage board with 90 signatures of people south of that facility that will be affected by flooding."
No decision was made in Tuesdays meeting, so Amazon's dewatering permit request was pushed for a later date.
