State Road 23 project likely to cause delays starting Monday

The Indiana Department of Transportation will begin lane closures on the State Road 23 bridge over Juday Creek starting Monday, June 8th through mid-August.

State Road 23 will be resurfaced between Edison Road and Main/Gumwood in early 2016, but INDOT says the bridge over Juday Creek must be replaced before resurfacing begins.

State Road 23 will turn into one lane in each direction during this time.

The project is expected to create delays, so drivers are encouraged to plan ahead.
