INDIANAPOLIS -- The Hammond Police Department is investigating the disappearance of 78-year-old Dorothy A. Harris. She is a black female, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 120 pounds, with gray hair with brown eyes, last seen wearing a zebra print scarf, a black sweatshirt, black pants, and black tennis shoes with sparkles.

She was last seen on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at 11:40 am in Hammond, Indiana, and is believed to be in extreme danger and needs medical assistance.
